Aaron Dannenbring

Aaron is a transformational leader with over 20 years of broad global general management success. His functional expertise includes Corporate Strategy, Technology Management, Product Management, Revenue Growth, Transformation, and Operations. Aaron has been featured at industry and press events on topics covering mobility, intelligent transportation systems, vehicle autonomy, telematics, location technology, travel & tourism, and data strategy.
Aaron was most recently the chief executive officer at Rand McNally where he led the restructuring of Rand McNally’s business. During his tenure he oversaw the acquisition of Fleetsu to scale Rand McNally’s fleet management business while launching several new products.
Immediately Prior to Rand McNally, Aaron co-founded and led Whereto Technologies, the world’s first travel inspiration platform doing business as Trifera. The Trifera team built a B2B platform that was successfully licensed multiple travel clients including a top 5 global hotel chain.
Prior to Trifera, Aaron spent nearly 15 years at HERE Technologies (formerly NAVTEQ / Nokia). Among his many roles at HERE Aaron served as the company’s chief strategy officer and led their largest business unit. As a member of the HERE leadership team he was responsible for HERE’s 3,500 person content business with team members in 60 countries.
Aaron had two stints earlier in his career at The Boston Consulting Group where he advised clients on revenue growth, cost management, and market entry strategy. Between his roles at The Boston Consulting Group Aaron ran a portfolio analysis team at a unit of Sanwa Bank (now part of Bank of America).
Mr. Dannenbring earned his MBA in 2001 from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management where he graduated with multiple academic awards. He earned his bachelor of arts degree with dual majors in Russian and Russian Studies from The University of Iowa.
