Chris has been recruiting CEOs and their direct reports for technology and technology-enabled services companies for over 25 years and is the leader of Lantern Partners technology practice. He is also a member of Lantern’s information officers practice and has recruited many senior information technology officers for the consumer products, manufacturing, supply chain, business services, and financial services sectors.

Prior to starting Lantern Partners in 2003, he was a partner at one of the world’s largest senior executive recruiting firms, serving as a partner in the global technology practice. Chris began his career in executive recruitment at another global recruitment firm as a principal.

Before entering executive recruiting, Chris served as an operations and systems consultant for Andersen, where he led projects to develop and implement performance measurement management and decision support solutions for consumer services companies. Earlier, he served as a member of the management associate program for Bank of America (formerly NationsBank). Chris has a bachelor’s degree in business from Indiana University.

He is an avid fly fisherman and backpacker and spends as much of his free time as possible outdoors. He lives in Wilmette, Illinois with his wife Jenny, their three boys Henry, Charles, and Edward, and their dog Griff.
