Jessie is SVP, Investor Relations at Callahan Capital Partners, a real estate operating company focused exclusively on the origination, acquisition and management of high quality office properties throughout the US. Jessie is also acting president of Callahan Family Investments, a family-owned investment business focused on growth-oriented investment opportunities within real estate and private equity.

Jessie began her career as a Teach for America Corps member in New York City teaching first grade at Brooklyn Ascend Charter school. This experience furthered an interest in better understanding urban education systems and supporting education reform. Since moving back to Chicago, Jessie has been active with OneGoal, and served as a board fellow at Illinois Network of Charter Schools.

Jessie has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan where she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, and a master’s in engineering management from Northwestern’s McCormick School of Engineering. Her hobbies include cooking, high intensity athletic challenges, and navigating parenting her children, with her husband, Evan.
