Leo Gonzalez
Leo Gonzalez is chief financial officer of the Urban Land Institute, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit research and education organization supported by over 45,000 members globally, whose mission is to shape the future of the built environment for transformative impact in communities worldwide.
He previously managed endowment and charitable trust assets at Stanford University, as well as global pension fund investments at PNM Resources and Ford Motor Company, where he also served as treasurer for Japan and Southeast Asia. Leo began his career in investment banking, specializing in leveraged finance and M&A transactions at J.P. Morgan and municipal bankruptcy and pension restructurings at Lehman Brothers.
Leo received a bachelor’s degree in international economics from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.
