Lisa Jones

Lisa Jones is an impact investor and mentor with a focus on intergenerational economic mobility. She is currently an advisory board member for OpenImpact, a certified B Corp which focuses on philanthropic strategy, and for Impact Entrepreneur magazine.

Lisa moved to Chicago from Silicon Valley where she led impact investing and strategic initiatives while serving multiple terms on the board of Silicon Valley Social Venture Fund (SV2) – also an SVP affiliate. Previously, she helped to found two social impact enterprises and served in senior management roles at Silicon Graphics, Inc. during a period of extraordinary growth. 

Lisa’s volunteer experience includes serving as a pitch judge for TechWomen, a mentor for the Miller Center for Entrepreneurship, serving on the Stanford Live Advisory Council and as a trustee (now trustee emeritus) for Theatreworks Silicon Valley, a Tony award winning regional theater. She is also a senior fellow in the American Leadership Forum (ALF).

Lisa holds a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University, and  master’s and bachelor’s degrees in mechanical engineering from MIT.
