Yolanda Fields is a transformational leader who currently serves as the executive director of Breakthrough Urban Ministries, a community development organization whose hyperlocal work is focused on housing, health and wellness, youth and education development, violence prevention, and community economics. 

Yolanda spent the first 10 years of her career leading high performing sales teams in the private sector. After the tragic life changing events of September 11, 2001, she transitioned to the nonprofit sector, developing a passion for building systems and developing people to respond to the needs of inner-city residents. 

Yolanda’s 20 years of experience in developing strategic initiatives, process improvements, change management and working with multi-disciplinary teams ensures organizational goals and intended impact are met. She enjoys reading, traveling, and sharing life with her husband and daughters.
